Hi! I'm Kristina,
and this is my pride and joy, Rocky.
I'm the Founder of Bindi Holistic Health, a qualified Naturopath and Therapeutic Embodiment facilitator, passionate about bringing amazing healthcare to my clients.

I became a functional medicine practitioner to give people hope and let them know there are more options available to them than what the conventional medical system has to offer.
At Bindi Holistic Health, I empower and support my clients to find the answers they are looking for, so they can live a healthy life and become the best version of themselves.

My Story
I was born in Germany and relocated to Australia in 2013. I have struggled with my health for many years. At 10 years old I was diagnosed with idiopathic juvenile polyarthritis - an autoimmune condition characterised by chronically inflamed joints.
It is a condition that is thought to be uncurable, its symptoms could only managed. My fingers and knees were swollen, hot and stiff. I was in debilitating pain, hospitalised at times and required regular check-ups at the rheumatologist. I took medication to reduce the inflammation and also had physiotherapy. My parents also accessed complementary natural therapies such as homeopathy, nutritional supplements and acupuncture. However, I kept having flares. I also struggled with poor mental health and an eating disorder throughout my twenties.

It wasn’t until I met a very special lady in 2014 that I found the key to my own healing. Jenny Pearce (Happiness with Horses) introduced me to what were totally new concepts for me. How chronic stress and emotional dysregulation can manifest as physical disease. How to be ok with feeling all our emotions. How to notice and listen to my intuition and live a more fulfilled and aligned life.

I spent 10 months as her working student and the turmoil in my heart and knees calmed down. I have never had a bout of arthritis since.
This experience has inspired me to turn my own long- standing suffering into a strength that would also benefit others. I decided to become a clinical Naturopath, studying for 4 years at Endeavour College of Natural Health. The degree is evidence- based and covered all aspects of nutritional and herbal medicine.
Since graduating I have been supporting clients with their health concerns in a variety of different roles. My clinical experience certainly matches my personal experience: The healing process is not limited to the physical body. Emotional and mental health hugely influence our well- being.
As this is something I am passionate about, I enrolled in a mentorship program with
Functional Spirituality to take a deep dive into all things nervous system
dysregulation and how to gently rebalance and heal through mindfulness and
meditation.
In 2022, I advanced my studies and became a certified Therapeutic Embodiment Facilitator. Despite not formally offering Embodiment sessions at this stage, these learnings certainly infuse my Naturopathic work.
I feel incredibly humbled to help people on their journey. It is an honor to witness not only their health, but in many cases also their lives transform.

BINDI is short for bindi bindi - the indigenous word for butterfly.
It symbolises metamorphosis and transition to a new phase.
This animal goes on quite a journey in its lifetime. Starting off as a caterpillar living close to the ground nourishing, itself getting ready for progressing to weave itself into a cocoon. Here it is surrounded by darkness only to develop into a beautiful butterfly when the time is right.
It is an incredible transformation that occurs, each step essential and inevitably leading to unfolding those colourful wings that carry it from blossom to blossom with lightness and playfulness.
Us humans also go through transformative stages in our life. Challenges provide us with opportunities to move out of our cocoons and become that beautiful being we were meant to be.
Sometimes it takes a bit of courage and perseverance to break through those fibres that keep us locked in place. Eventually, we see the light and we then know it’s not long until we can spread our wings and enjoy the ride with a totally new perspective.
